Rappel sur le superlatif en anglais
Le superlatif de supƩrioritƩ
Le superlatif de supĆ©rioritĆ© est employĆ© pour verbaliser le degrĆ© le plus haut dāune caractĆ©ristique, quāelle soit nĆ©gative ou positive.
Le former avec un adjectif court : THE + adjectif (court) avec la terminaison EST
Le former avec un adjectif long : THE MOST + adjectif
The greatest politician of this country certainly ! = Le plus grand politique de ce pays assurƩment !
You should watch it again, it’s the most remarkable action of the game. = Tu devrais la revoir, c’est l’action la plus remarquable du match.
Attention, il existe quelques exceptions dont le superlatif de Good, qui a fait lāobjet dāun cours sur notre site. A noter par ailleurs que les adjectifs qui sāachĆØvent par Y, on fait appel Ć la terminaisaion IEST, le Y doit en effet ĆŖtre enlevĆ©.

Le superlatif dāinfĆ©rioritĆ©
On recourt au superlatif dāinfĆ©rioritĆ© pour rapporter un objet ou une personne se trouvant Ć lāextrĆ©mitĆ© infĆ©rieure parmi un groupe contenant le mĆŖme type dāobjets ou de personnes. Une notion facile Ć assimiler dans le cadre dāun cours dāanglais dispensĆ© gratuitement via le dispositif quāincarne le CPF.
Avec un adjectif court ou long : THE LEAST + adjectif
